Materials: Made from solid walnut, each board and panel are picked with grain selection and color in mind.
Design: This mid-century inspired design is designed and hand-crafted by Erik. The joinery on the main cabinet is hand-cut through dovetails. The drawers are inset to precision using traditional hand plane methods. The drawers feature continuous grain across, hand-cut, half-blind dovetails on the faces, and hand-cut through dovetails on the back. The doors feature solid wood panels with stunning grain and hand-fit and hung with brass hinges. The cabinets offer ample storage with an adjustable shelf. The upper, middle shelf is designed to be open for media devices. The Bree Console is perfect for the living room and a great compliment to the RW Coffee Table.
3rd Drawer Option: Although the upper, middle shelf above the drawers is designed to be open for media devices, upon request, that can be converted to a drawer.
Process: The walnut for every piece is hand-selected “in the rough” from high-quality lumber yards in the Atlanta area. The boards are then milled in Erik’s shop to the appropriate size and thickness to begin joining, shaping and crafted the piece. Careful care and consideration is used to select each board for it’s grain, color and features as it relates to the piece (drawer fronts, top, base, legs, etc.). Every piece is made one at a time with expert-level craftsmanship in Erik’s shop.
